After practicing dentistry in Venezuela for 5 years, Dr. Sanchez left the country to pursue her passion of becoming a pediatric dentist. She earned her special degree in pediatric dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, and she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Hawaiian Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Sanchez and her husband, Juan, are proud to now call Kauai their home.
Dr. Sanchez believes in community service, and she proves it with her actions, as she has participated in many volunteer trips to Venezuela and Puerto Rico. And as a bilingual dentist, Dr. Sanchez is able to connect with children of many cultures and make each dental visit as easy as possible.
In addition to keeping kids in good spirits, Dr. Sanchez has taken on the role of educator. She has a remarkable ability to explain complex dental topics in simple, easy-to-understand terms, and she enjoys motivating the whole family to stick with healthy oral health habits.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Sanchez enjoys traveling, dancing, hiking, and going to the beach.
